03 / BEFORE YOU START

Ready to get started?
Check these three things first.

Getting connected smoothly
starts with a little preparation before you order.

  1. 01

    Check your device and destination.

Check your exact phone model for SIM, eSIM and Wi-Fi Calling support, then confirm coverage in the countries where you will use it. Reseller offers may have additional device and shipping restrictions.

  2. 02

Know where and how to activate.

Confirm whether activation is available from your country or requires a visit to the carrier’s home market. For US Wi-Fi Calling, follow the provider’s E911 address requirements before installing and enabling your eSIM.

  3. 03

    Plan renewals and account recovery.

Check accepted payment methods, renewal terms and number-expiry rules. Make sure you control the account and keep backup verification methods. Parking a number is different from keeping calls and texts active.

ONE MORE OPTION

Looking beyond the US? Consider a UK number.

Giffgaff is an option to explore if a UK +44 number fits your needs. Before ordering, check SIM delivery, activation eligibility, roaming charges and number-retention rules for your location.

04 / GOOD QUESTIONS

A few more things
you might be wondering.

Clear answers to common points of confusion.

How do mobile and VoIP numbers differ?+

Mobile numbers are supplied by cellular carriers; VoIP numbers use internet-based calling services. Each platform sets its own verification rules. Tello and ENC are options to consider for important accounts, while Google Voice can serve as a backup. No number guarantees verification success.

Can I receive texts while abroad?+

It depends on the carrier, plan, device and destination. Some services support calls and texts over Wi-Fi Calling; others need cellular roaming. Check activation requirements, supported countries, emergency-address settings and charges before relying on the number abroad.

Should I choose a physical SIM or an eSIM?+

Check your exact phone model, carrier lock status and eSIM compatibility. An eSIM avoids physical delivery but still requires a supported device and activation process. Physical SIMs depend on shipping availability. The ENC white-card offer has additional iPhone restrictions; third-party adapters add costs and compatibility requirements.

Can Tello's $3 option receive verification texts?+

The $3 Park Number option retains your number but cannot make calls, send or receive texts, or use data. To receive texts, restore an active plan. The reference price for a plan with texting starts at $5 per month.

Can Saily verify bank or AI service accounts?+

Saily is not recommended for financial institution verification. Check verification-text support for services such as ChatGPT and Claude separately. Follow each platform's current verification requirements; one successful attempt does not guarantee future support.

Are these live prices?+

No. Prices are reference figures and have not all been checked against the latest offers. Taxes, SIM fees, ID requirements, stock and promotion terms may change. Confirm details with the carrier or seller before ordering.
